When it comes to celebrating love, there’s a certain charm in the simplicity and rustic beauty of a barn wedding in Richmond, Virginia. Katie and Justin recently exchanged vows in a setting that perfectly blended the old-world charm of a barn at Oakdale with the modern elegance of a wedding celebration.
This wedding day was special to us in many ways. We met Katie last year when she was a Bridesmaid at Colleen and Clay’s wedding at the Gala 417 in Virginia Beach. We had so many wonderful conversations and she and Justin decided to book us almost INSTANTLY.
We had the amazing pleasure of getting to know them over the next year and became so much more than just their wedding photographers. Tara and I consider Katie and Justin family now!
The ceremony unfolded against a backdrop of rolling hills and greenery, with the barn doors wide open to invite the outdoors in. The natural light streamed in, casting a warm glow on the bride as she made her way down the aisle, a vision in her stunning wedding dress by Tiffany’s Bridal that seemed to echo the timeless beauty of the surroundings.
